So the dust has settled and the servers are up and running and people are in and gaming on them. That's not to say (Pre) Launch Day was completely without incident - the new forum software failed to let anyone post for a while, and a mission server problem caused some issues.
Those that judge a company or an MMO based on the company's reaction to issues like this have a lot to be happy about - Flying Lab hit the ground running and sorted most of the issues people had on an one-to-one basis. The Pirates of the Burning Sea forums are to be wiped and reinstalled for release.
While the original forums will be available at some point in an archive form it is unclear exactly when this will be; Flying Lab have suggested that if anyone has an important post they make a local copy of this before the wipe happens. |
