Yes, finally, after such a long struggle and so many false starts.. the Pirates of the Burning Sea preorder is now in stores throughout the US.. which means I can't get it yet, but anyways, it really is in real, actual boxes on real, actual shelves in stores on real, actual streets (and/or shopping malls), and FLS have proven thus:

That's Flying Lab staff members Keno Suna, Kung Food Master and Woody, the woodpecker, with the Pirates of the Burning Sea preorder boxes they bought to try and keep them out of the hands of the general public.
